This policy explains what information Safana LLC collects through safanacf.io, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
01 Who we are
Safana LLC is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, with a registered address at 1007 North Orange Street, 4th Floor, STE 229, Wilmington, DE 19801. In this policy we refer to ourselves as "Safana", "we" or "us".
Safana is an online retailer. We purchase consumer goods from brand owners and authorized distributors and resell them to end consumers through online marketplaces. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.
02 Scope
This policy covers the website at safanacf.io and any correspondence that follows from it. It does not cover the marketplaces where our products are listed. Those platforms operate their own privacy policies and are responsible for the data they collect from shoppers.
We do not process consumer payment data on this website. No transactions take place here.
03 What we collect
We collect two kinds of information, and only one of them comes from you directly.

We do not ask for and do not want personal financial information, government identification numbers, or any special category data. Please do not send it to us. If you do, we will delete it.
04 How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and continue the conversation you started.
- To evaluate a potential supply relationship and, if it proceeds, to open and administer a trading account.
- To keep records of our business correspondence and purchasing history.
- To keep the website working, secure and free of automated abuse.
- To comply with tax, accounting and other legal obligations that apply to us.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not send marketing email to people who have not asked for it.
05 Legal bases
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interests for responding to business inquiries, evaluating suppliers, and protecting the security of our systems. Our interest is in running a commercial business, and the data involved is ordinary business contact information given to us voluntarily.
- Performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering one, where we are opening or operating a trading account with you.
- Legal obligation where retention or disclosure is required of us by law.
- Consent where we ask for it specifically, which you may withdraw at any time.
06 Service providers
We use a small number of third parties to run this website. They process information on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Each provider maintains its own privacy policy governing how it handles the data it processes.
08 Retention
Inquiries that do not lead to a trading relationship are kept for up to twenty four months, so that we can pick up a conversation if you come back to us, and then deleted.
Records connected to an open trading account are kept for the life of the relationship. Invoices, purchase records and other financial documents are retained for a minimum of seven years, as required by United States tax rules.
09 Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where we relied on it.
California residents may additionally request disclosure of the categories of personal information we collected in the preceding twelve months, request deletion, and opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
To make a request, write to purchasing@safanacf.io with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We reply within thirty days. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, which for business contacts usually means replying from the email address on record.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom and you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
11 International transfers
Safana is established in the United States and our service providers are located there. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and stored in the United States, where data protection law differs from that of your own country.
Where personal data is transferred out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses as implemented by our service providers.
12 Security
The website is served over encrypted connections. Access to our email and form submissions is limited to the people who need it and is protected by multi factor authentication.
No system is perfectly secure. We do not claim otherwise, and we ask that you avoid sending anything sensitive through a web form.
13 Children
This website is directed at businesses and is not intended for anyone under the age of eighteen. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
14 Changes
We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be signaled on this page.
